Come and Cruise the River Severn!

We would like to invite you to take a gentle cruise along the River Severn on our all weather waterbus "Avonbelle".   Take in the beautiful scenery and enjoy the fresh air on deck whilst admiring the majesty of the Malvern Hills and the picturesque old town of Upton-upon-Severn.

During your boat trip, we can provide an interesting commentary, with some history of the area, fascinating facts and a glimpse of the varied riverside wildlife.  Enjoy a cup of tea or coffee onboard, or a chilled drink whilst relaxing and taking some time out.

For our younger passengers, we offer a fun quiz to try, with questions, things to spot and word games.  If they do well they can win a ticket to come again! KIDS NOTE: The current record for the number of words made from "Avonbelle" is 97! This is held by STEVE.C on the 31st July 2011 - how will you do?

Find us in the heart of Worcestershire, at the foot of the Malvern Hills and at the edge of The Cotswolds.

The beautiful town of Upton itself is renowned for its festivals, primarily the world famous Jazz festival which takes place in June.

There are also the Blues festival, the Folk festival and the Upton Music Festival taking place throughout the Summer. 

Follow in the footsteps of Sir Edward Elgar who frequently visited the town, and is in fact pictured taking a break on the Avonbelle moorings (See our links page to find out more about the Elgar route).

The town boasts a friendly holiday atmosphere with many shops and businesses owned and run by local people who, like us, pride themselves on providing a friendly personal service. There is the fascinating Museum and Heritage Centre should you want a little more history, and the town itself is full of cosy pubs and places to eat.

We run casual 35 minute cruises along the Severn every Saturday, Sunday and bank holidays, which run on the hour all day during the season. No need to book these trips - just come along!
