Coach Parties

Avonbelle loves coach parties! The coach driver always travels free of course, and if you are enjoying cakes or cream teas on the cruise the drivers is complimentary also.

Upton has a large coach park a short walk from the centre, next to the public toilets, near the river front which boasts many pubs and cafes as well as the heritage centre and Tudor House Museum.  The town offers special rates for coaches visiting the town, you can park in the designated coach bays all day for just 0.10p!.

Once dropped off, Avonbelle is situated less than 200 yrds (160m) along the scenic riverfront where we disembark from Waterside at our moorings.

There are steps down to the boat, with full handrails both sides, and we have a crew member situated at top and bottom to offer assistance where needed. 

We take up to approx 40 passengers but if your party has more we can split the group into 2 trips, so half the group can enjoy the town and riverside pubs and shops while the other half enjoys the cruise. 

We offer a quiz with a small prize which is always lots of fun during the cruise (not compulsary!), interesting live commentary, which has been put together by the esteemed local historian Mr Simon Wilkinson, and Mrs Lavender Beard from the Tudor House Museum.
